Hon'ble Dr. Justice Devendra Kumar Arora

CHAIRMAN

Dr. Justice Devendra Kumar Arora Graduated in Law from Lucknow University in the year 1982. He did his Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Law (D.L.L.) from the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi in the year 1984 and also did his Post Graduation in Law (LL.M.) in the session (1983-85) from University of Lucknow. He was awarded 'PanditJagmohanNathChak Memorial Gold Medal' for obtaining highest marks in Constitutional Law in LL.M. examination of 1985 by the University of Lucknow.

He was admitted to the Degree of Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) by the University of Lucknow in the year 2013. He was awarded Jagdish Prasad Legal Research Gold Medal for the year 2013 by the University of Lucknow.

He is author of few books like "The Major Civil Manual" (2016) and "Criminal Code of India" (two volumes) published in 2019.

He enrolled as an Advocate on Feb. 12, 1983. He practiced in Service, Constitutional, Educational, Contract and Land Acquisition matters at Allahabad High Court, Allahabad as well as Lucknow and Supreme Court.

He served as Addl. Advocate General of the State of U.P. till elevation. He also worked as Addl. C.S.C. and S.C., Government of U.P. & S.C. for the Chancellor/Visitor, U.P. State Universities since 1995 and Special Counsel for the H.E. Governor's Secretariat.

He served as Standing Counsel for U.P. Higher Education Service Commission, Allahabad and for SGPGI of Medical Sciences, Lucknow from, 1993 to 2004.

He also worked as Senior Counsel for Civil Aviation Department, U.P., Noida, Scooter India Limited.

He worked as Standing Counsel for Agra, Jhansi, Faizabad and Gorakhpur Universities.

Dr. Justice Devendra Kumar Arora was elevated as Additional Judge of Allahabad High Court on Apr 13, 2009. He took oath as permanent Judge on Dec. 24, 2010 and retired on 19.06.2019. He was chairman of Advisory Board (NSA detentions). He was also a member of the Mediation and Conciliation committee.

Hon'ble Dr. Justice Devendra Kumar Arora was appointed as first Chairman of U.P. Real Estate Appellate Tribunal on 20.07.2019 after notification of UP REAT on 30.03.2019.

Hon'ble Mr.Sanjai Khare

Judicial Member

Sri Sanjai Khare did graduation in the year 1980-81 and did LLB in year 1984 from Deen Dayal Upadhyay University, Gorakhpur.

He selected in Bihar Prosecution Service in 1988 and served there from A 1988 to Mid June 1990.

In June 1990 joined as Civil Judge Junior Divis U.P. Judicial Service (1986 batch) and served from 16.06.1990 to 28.02.2022 in different capacities like Civil Judge (Ju Division)/Judicial Magistrate, Civil Judge Senior Division /Additi Chief Judicial Magistrate, Additional District Judge in different district served on deputation as Addl. L.R./Special Secretary, Law. Promotion to District Judge, served on deputation as Principal Secre Legislative in U.P. Government and as Legal Advisor to Hor Governor, U.P. He retired from Judicial service on 28.02.2022.

After retirement from Judicial Service, he served as Presi District Consumer dispute redressal Commission, Barabanki 12.12.2022 to 12.12.2023. Sri Sanjai Khare was appointed as Juc member of U.P Real Estate Appellate Tribunal vide U.P. Govern Notification dated 28 November, 2023 and joined in U.P Real E Appellate Tribunal on 12.12.2023.
